Terms of Service

Effective October 1, 2026 · Updated October 1, 2026 · Version 1.0

These Terms are the agreement between you and Zellwork for the Zellwork app and the pages on zellwork.app. They describe the product that exists now: shareable Personal Cards and Provider Cards, public links, Home for eligible Provider Cards, reporting, and account deletion.

Introduction

Zellwork provides software that lets a person create a Personal Card, create a Provider Card, and share those cards with a link or a QR code. Other people can open a saved card in a browser without an account. The app is where the card owner signs in and edits.

Zellwork is not a marketplace. It does not book jobs, hold money, employ providers, or match a client to a provider through a transaction. A Provider Card is a page of information the provider publishes. Any agreement for work happens between the people involved, away from Zellwork, unless and until Zellwork offers a different product and says so in these Terms.

By creating an account or by saving a card, you agree to these Terms and to the Community Guidelines. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. These Terms are version 1.0 and are effective October 1, 2026.

The sign-in screen states that continuing means you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Zellwork does not currently store a separate record of which version you tapped. The version on this page is the version that applies.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a contract to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use Zellwork only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. Zellwork is not directed to children under 13, and a child under 13 may not create an account.

The app does not ask for a date of birth and does not verify age. You are responsible for meeting this rule. Zellwork may disable an account that appears to belong to a child under 13 or that is used to exploit a minor.

You may not use Zellwork if you are barred from using the service under applicable law, or if Zellwork has disabled your account and has not restored it.

Accounts

You sign in with an email address and a one-time code. You do not choose a password. Keep access to that email. Anyone who can read the code can sign in as you.

You must provide an email you control. Do not create an account for someone else unless you are allowed to act for them, and do not share a single account among people who are not supposed to control the same cards.

The display name and username should identify you or the business the cards represent. The username becomes the public address of both cards. Do not choose a username that impersonates another person, brand, or organization.

You are responsible for the activity on the account and for the content saved to the cards. If you believe someone else signed in, email support and delete or edit anything they changed.

Accurate information

Information on a card should be accurate as of the time you save it. That includes names, links, prices, availability, location, and descriptions of services or products. If something changes, update the card or remove it.

Zellwork does not review every card before it goes live. Saving a card publishes it. You, not Zellwork, decide what the card says.

Personal Cards

A Personal Card is your public page for the identity, links, and images you choose to share. A saved Personal Card is available at zellwork.app/username unless Zellwork has hidden that card or disabled the account.

You may include contact methods and links that you want other people to use. You are responsible for where those links go. Zellwork does not host the websites you link to, and it does not promise that a link stays safe after you add it.

Provider Cards

A Provider Card is a public page for a person or business that offers services or products. It can describe the work, show prices you enter, list services and products, show images, state availability, and show a location you choose to publish.

A saved Provider Card is available at zellwork.app/provider/username. Plus is not required for that link. Anyone with the link can open it.

Publishing a Provider Card does not make you an employee, agent, or partner of Zellwork. It does not mean Zellwork checked a license, insurance policy, background, or identity. Clients who find you through a card must make their own judgment.

Prices, durations, and descriptions on a Provider Card are your statements. Zellwork does not collect those payments and does not enforce those prices. If you link to an outside store or booking page, that outside service is not part of Zellwork.

Public cards and hidden cards

A saved card is public at its link. The product does not offer a switch that keeps a saved card on your account while hiding it from anyone who has the link. Drafts that have not been saved are not the public page.

Zellwork can hide a Personal Card, hide a Provider Card, or disable an account. Hiding a card stops the public link from returning that card. Disabling an account stops both public links. The records remain stored until the account is deleted or Zellwork removes them. You cannot set those controls yourself.

Home is a discovery list in the app. A saved Provider Card can appear there until subscriptions are available, when the card is listed for Home, the account is not disabled, and the card is not hidden. Removing a card from Home does not delete the public provider link. You cannot buy a subscription in the app. There is no subscription charge, renewal, or in-app payment. A control that removes a card from Home only changes Home listing. It does not start or stop a bill, because there is no bill.

Your content

You keep ownership of the text, images, and other material you submit, to the extent you had rights in them. Zellwork does not take ownership of your cards by hosting them.

You give Zellwork a limited license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that material only as needed to operate the service. That includes showing the card on the public page, generating the link-preview image that messaging apps request, showing the card in the app to you, showing a listed Provider Card on Home, and keeping a copy long enough to complete those steps and to enforce these Terms.

The license is non-exclusive and royalty-free. It lasts while the content is on the service, and for a short period afterward if a cached preview or a backup still exists. It ends for the public page when the content is removed and the public link no longer serves it, except for the limited retention described in the Privacy Policy and the Account Deletion page.

This license does not let Zellwork sell your photos, use your card in paid advertising, or train an artificial-intelligence model on your card. Zellwork does not do those things. If that ever changes, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will say so before it happens.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload the content, that it does not infringe someone else’s copyright or trademark, and that publishing it does not violate a law or a duty you owe to someone else, including a duty of confidentiality.

Zellwork’s property

Zellwork owns the Zellwork name, logo, app, website, visual system, and the software that runs the service, not including your card content. You may not copy the app or the site, use the name or logo as your own, or imply that Zellwork endorses you, except for the ordinary act of sharing your own card link.

These Terms do not transfer any Zellwork intellectual property to you. They give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app and the site while your account is in good standing.

Sharing and third-party links

You may share your public link and QR code. You may not present a card as private after you have saved it. People you send the link to can open it, save it, and forward it.

Links, phone numbers, and addresses on a card point at services Zellwork does not run. Your dealings with those services, including any payment you make on another site, are between you and that service. Zellwork is not a party to them.

Prohibited content

You may not save or share a card, image, or link that:

  • Is illegal in the place it is offered or viewed, including content that sexually exploits a minor.
  • Impersonates a person, business, or agency, or misstates a license, credential, price, or identity in a way that would mislead a reasonable viewer.
  • Harasses, threatens, or targets a person with hateful abuse.
  • Doxes someone, including a home address or private contact that the person did not choose to publish.
  • Infringes a copyright, trademark, or other right.
  • Contains malware, or sends people to a page whose purpose is to steal credentials or install unwanted software.
  • Is spam, including repeated cards or links whose purpose is to flood Home, reports, or inboxes.
  • Offers a transaction Zellwork cannot host, such as the sale of illegal goods, and uses the card to arrange it.

The Community Guidelines explain these rules in plainer language. If the Guidelines and these Terms both apply, follow the stricter reading.

Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Probe, scan, or attack the service, or try to reach another person’s account, stored images, or reports.
  • Bypass a limit, including the image size and type limits, the report rate limit, or a block on a hidden card.
  • Use a bot to create accounts, scrape cards at a volume that degrades the service, or submit reports automatically.
  • Resell access to Zellwork or frame the site in a way that hides whose card it is.
  • Interfere with another person’s card, username, or report.
  • Use a report to harass a card owner rather than to flag a real problem.

Looking at a public card, sharing a link you were given, or quoting a public card in a lawful way is not scraping. Building a copy of the directory by hammering the site is not allowed.

Reports and enforcement

Anyone can report a public card. Zellwork reviews reports. A report is not a guarantee that a card will be removed, and it does not by itself notify the card owner inside the app.

Zellwork may remove content, hide a Personal Card, hide a Provider Card, remove a card from Home, or disable an account. It may do that because of a report, because of a legal notice, or because the card or the account violates these Terms. It may also restore a card or an account.

Zellwork does not promise a response time. Urgent danger should go to local emergency services. A copyright notice should follow the Copyright page. A safety report should use the report form or the support address.

If you want to ask about an enforcement action, email support@zellwork.com. Zellwork may ask for information to find the account. There is no separate in-app appeals desk. A request is not a promise that the decision will change.

Zellwork may act on its own, without a report, when it learns of a violation. It is not obligated to monitor cards, and it does not pre-approve them.

Account deletion and ending access

You may delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes the sign-in account, the profile, both cards, and the uploaded card images tied to the account, and it scrubs report text as the Account Deletion page describes. It is immediate in the product and cannot be undone from the app.

Zellwork may disable or delete an account that violates these Terms, that creates a safety risk, or that Zellwork is required to remove. If Zellwork disables an account, the public links stop returning the cards. If you delete the account yourself after that, the deletion process still applies.

You may stop using Zellwork at any time. The license you gave for content ends for public display when the content is no longer served, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

Zellwork may change, suspend, or stop parts of the service. Home, Plus, sharing, and the public pages can change. Zellwork does not promise that a link will be available without interruption, that a preview in another app will update immediately, or that a particular phone or browser will always work.

Features that are not in the product are not part of these Terms. That includes messaging between users, reviews, payments, booking, identity verification, NFC cards, and a public comment thread. Do not rely on those as if they exist.

Third-party services

The app and the site depend on infrastructure and on services named in the Privacy Policy, including hosting, sign-in email, place search, maps, and fonts. Those providers have their own terms. Zellwork is not responsible for an outage or a decision by one of them, except to the extent Zellwork caused it.

No endorsement and no professional relationship

A card on Zellwork is the card owner’s content. Appearance on Home, a public link, or a share preview does not mean Zellwork checked, endorsed, employed, insured, or certified the person or the business.

Zellwork does not provide the services listed on a Provider Card. If you hire someone you found on a card, that relationship is yours. Disputes about quality, price, safety, refunds, or no-shows are between the people who made the arrangement. Zellwork is not the seller and is not the customer.

Nothing on a card is professional advice from Zellwork. Licensing rules for a trade are the provider’s responsibility. If a law requires a license, insurance, or a permit, the provider must have it. Zellwork does not confirm that they do.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, Zellwork disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and it disclaims any warranty that the service will be error-free, that a card is accurate, or that a provider is trustworthy.

Some places do not allow a disclaimer of certain warranties. In those places, the disclaimer applies only as far as the law allows. Zellwork does not disclaim a right that the law says cannot be disclaimed.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Zellwork and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising out of the service or a card.

To the extent the law allows, the total liability of Zellwork for a claim related to the service is limited to the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars or the amount you paid Zellwork for the service in the twelve months before the claim. The current product does not charge a fee, so that cap is one hundred U.S. dollars unless a later paid feature changes the amount you actually paid.

These limits do not apply where the law forbids them, including liability that cannot be limited for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or certain statutory rights. This section is a draft allocation of risk for a free card-hosting service and should be read with the legal-review note at the end of these Terms.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Zellwork and its operators against claims, damages, and reasonable expenses that arise from your card, your links, the services or products you describe, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or of someone else’s rights. Zellwork may control the defense of a claim that is only about the Zellwork software itself. You will not settle a claim that admits fault by Zellwork without its written agreement.

This section is broad on purpose because the cards are user content. It is also one of the sections that needs review by counsel before launch, especially for individual users in places that limit indemnity clauses.

Changes

Zellwork may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date and version number. If a change is material, the page will say what changed in the version history. Where the law requires a specific form of notice, Zellwork will use that form.

If you keep using the service after the effective date, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the service and delete the account.

Account security

The one-time code is the key to the account. Do not forward it. Do not post a screenshot of it. If you use a shared inbox, anyone with that inbox can enter the code and edit the cards. Zellwork cannot tell the difference between you and someone else who has the code.

Sign out on a phone you no longer control. Deleting the app without deleting the account leaves the cards online. Deleting the account is the step that removes the public pages.

You may not try to sign in as someone else, guess codes for other people, or reuse a session you are not supposed to have. Those are violations even if no card is changed.

Responsibility for what you publish

You are responsible for the Personal Card and the Provider Card after you save them. That includes the name, the bio, every link, every price, every photo, the location, and the availability text. If a link starts pointing somewhere else because the site you linked changed hands, you are still the person who left it on the card. Check the card when something important changes.

You are also responsible for the consequences of sharing the link. Sending a Provider Card to a client publishes whatever is on that card to anyone they forward it to. Do not put a client’s private job details, a gate code, or a home address you were given in confidence onto a card that has a public link.

If you describe services, you are responsible for performing them as you described, or for updating the card when you cannot. Zellwork will not stand in as the provider, and it will not refund a client, because it never held the money.

Impersonation and fraud

You may not use a username, display name, or photo to pretend you are a specific person, business, or agency. A tribute, a fan card, or a “not affiliated” line does not fix a name that a reasonable visitor would read as the real organization.

You may not invent credentials. If the card says you are licensed, insured, bonded, or certified, that statement has to be true. Zellwork does not check it. A false statement is still your violation of these Terms, and it can be a violation of law outside these Terms.

Scam patterns are prohibited even when each sentence looks plausible. That includes cards that copy a real provider’s photos, cards that collect payments through a lookalike link, and cards that pretend to be Zellwork support. There is no in-app payment page. A link that asks for a card number is not Zellwork.

How restriction works

Hiding a card and disabling an account are different. Hiding applies to one card. The other card can stay public. Disabling an account stops both public links. Neither action deletes the account by itself. You can still be asked to delete it, and you can delete it from Settings if you can still sign in. If you cannot sign in, email support from the account email.

Home listing can be removed without hiding the public provider link. That happens when you take the card off Home, or when the card is hidden or the account is disabled. Taking a card off Home is not a statement that the provider did something wrong. Hiding a card or disabling an account can be.

Zellwork does not owe a public explanation of every decision. It may tell you the reason when that is safe and when the law requires it. It may refuse to describe a report in detail if doing so would expose the person who wrote it.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Zellwork has not yet stated a single U.S. state of organization or a court venue on this page. Until that sentence is added, do not treat a particular state as selected. Email a dispute to the legal address below before filing a case, so the people involved can try to resolve it. This request to write first is not a requirement to arbitrate, and it does not waive a right that the law says cannot be waived, including a right to go to small-claims court where that court has jurisdiction.

These Terms do not include a binding arbitration clause and do not include a class-action waiver. Whether to add either one is a decision for counsel and for Zellwork, not a term that is already in force.

Other terms

If a court holds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. A failure to enforce a rule once is not a waiver. You may not assign the account or these Terms. Zellwork may assign them with a transfer of the service.

These Terms, the Community Guidelines, the Privacy Policy, the Reporting & Safety page, the Account Deletion page, and the Copyright page are the written rules for the service. They replace earlier placeholder pages on the same addresses. A conversation with support does not change these Terms unless it is a posted update.

Headings are for reading. They do not limit the sections.

How these Terms fit the rest of the product

The Privacy Policy is the description of information. These Terms are the rules for using the service. The Community Guidelines are the same rules in plainer language for cards. The Reporting & Safety page is how a person flags a public card. The Account Deletion page is what the delete button does. The Copyright page is how a rights holder sends a notice. If a sentence in the Guidelines is shorter than a sentence here, the sentence here still applies.

A saved Personal Card at zellwork.app/username and a saved Provider Card at zellwork.app/provider/username are public pages. You do not get a private mode by saving. Home is a list, not a second internet. Listing on Home is included until subscriptions are available. It is not a subscription you can buy, renew, or cancel for a refund, because no charge is made.

You may stop using the app and leave the cards up. The cards stay public until you delete the content, delete the account, or Zellwork hides the card or disables the account. Closing the app does not unpublish a card.

If a feature in an old screenshot is not in the app you have now, it is not part of these Terms. Saved lists, in-app payments, reviews, messages between users, and a verified-provider badge are not offered. Do not describe your card as reviewed or verified by Zellwork.

The sign-in line that mentions these Terms is an acknowledgment on the screen. The product does not write a row that says which version you accepted. The version on this page, with its effective date, is the version that governs use after that date. If you need a copy, use this page. Support can send the link. Support cannot negotiate a private set of terms for one account.

Version history

Version 1.0, effective October 1, 2026. First version written for the current product. It states that Plus is not a paid subscription, that saved cards are public by link, that Zellwork does not verify providers, and that there is no in-app payment.

Counsel still needs to confirm governing law and venue, the liability cap, the indemnity, eligibility ages, and whether any state consumer notice must be added before public launch. This page does not say the Terms are certified or guaranteed compliant.
